Organic deodorised olive oil is a versatile base oil for cosmetic formulations with an understated sensory character. Thanks to its reduced natural odour, it is particularly suitable for emulsions and fragranced formulations in which the plant oil used should have as little influence as possible on the fragrance concept.

The organic olive oil is deodorised to reduce its characteristic olive odour. The result is a sensorially neutral grade that can be integrated flexibly into different fragrance and formulation concepts.

From a formulation perspective, olive oil is characterised by its high proportion of oleic acid, complemented by palmitic, palmitoleic and linoleic acid. This fatty acid profile makes it a versatile building block for oil phases, oil blends and emulsions. Its neutral sensory profile allows flexibility in designing the fragrance profile.

The product is suitable for creams and lotions, facial and body oils, hair care formulations, soaps and other cosmetic applications. For formulations in which the characteristic olive oil character is desired, organic extra virgin olive oil is also available.
